On 5/20/1995 , the vessel NORTHPORT LADY (Official Number 368533) was involved in a person overboard in OFF TIGNISH, P.E.I.,.

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 12/19/1995. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the SW at 5.00 knots.

Crew member fell overboard and was immediately recovered. As a result, he sustained hypothermia and a dislocated shoulder. He was treated at hospital and released. Note: formerly OccNo : 1300-5-95
