The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 6/17/1998 . Weather at the time was reported as with winds from the SE at 25.00 knots.
F.V. with 3 POB went aground while at anchor off Marble Island. POB swam to shore in dry suits and later taken by helicopter to Sandspit. All ok.
