On 9/27/1983 , the vessel DIP'N DIVE (Official Number 331547) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in E COAST-CONCEPTION BAY-1/4 MILE OFF KELLIGREWS,.

The vessel, with 8 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
