The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

Tug "Sharbett" downbound in the Fraser River with a log boom on tow struck Annacis Channel Swing Bridge and broke off the top of the mast and the radar scanner. The vessel was experiencing an ebb tide as it approached the bridge.
