On 12 August 2017, the barge "FM 503", while being towed by the tug "FATHOM WAVE", went aground on a sand bank in the Mackenzie River, NT. The tug pulled the barge off the sand bank. There was no reported pollution.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT
