On 19 February 2017, the tug "BEAR I", with 2 people on board and while towing the loaded barge " H.R.J.S. IV", reported as disabled due to fuel issues in Johnson Strait, BC. The Canadian Coast Guard ship "CAPE CALVERT" towed the tug and the barge to Bear Cove, BC. for repair. There is no pollution or injury reported.
