On 11/1/1991 , the vessel BL CHARLOTTE (Official Number 3179) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in IROQUOIS LOCK, ONT.,.

The vessel, with 29 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 1/20/1992 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the E at 6.00 knots.
