On 7/25/2002 , the vessel SALMON TRANSPORTER (Official Number 313111) was involved in a bottom contact in CHANCELLOR CHANNEL, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 7/30/2002 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 20.00 knots.

On 25 July, 2002, the fish packer "SALMON TRANSPORTER" unintentionally made contact with the bottom without grounding.
