On 2/18/2004 , the vessel R.C.L. TUG II (Official Number 189893) was involved in a sank - flooding in PIER #52 TORONTO HARBOUR, ONT., ONTARIO (ON).
The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

On 18 Feb 2004, while berthed at the southern end of pier 51 Toronto Harbour & exposed to a heavy SW sea & swell, the dead ship tug "R.C.L. TUG II" sank. Vessel has been salvaged & undergoing repairs.
