On 1/17/1988 , the vessel VISHVA PARIJAT (Official Number 1848) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in OFF BURIN,PLACENTIA BAY,NFLD.,ENROUTE MONTREAL,.

The vessel, with 52 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
