On 3/31/2015 , the vessel LARK (Official Number 16097) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in Sept-Îles, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

On 31 March 2015, the bulk carrier "LARK" sustained a propulsion failure 7 nautical miles off Sept-Îles, QC and a black-out 7 hours later while in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The 2 failures were caused by clogged fuel filters; the crew cleaned the filters and the vessel resumed its voyage.
