On 9/17/2013 , the vessel WESER (Official Number 15914) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 20 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

On 17 September 2013. the tanker "WESER" experienced bank suction and struck the lower west wall while transiting the Welland Canal near Lock 8 off Port Colborne, Ontario. No pollution or injuries reported.
