On 11/1/1988 , the vessel OCEAN TIDE (Official Number 152540) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in BETWEEN CANOE PASS BUOY T14 & SAND HEADS, B.C.,.

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
