On 8/23/2005 , the vessel ZIEMIA LODZKA (Official Number 12139) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in LOWER BEAUHARNOIS - LOCK 3, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 20 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 8/24/2005 . Weather at the time was reported as overcast with winds from the WNW at 15.00 knots.

The upbound vessel "ZIEMIA LODZKA" struck lock 3. Both vessel and lock sustained damage. No pollution and injuries reported.
