On 11/12/2000, the vessel PARIS (Official Number 10602) was involved in a risk of striking (near allision) - risk of allision with a fixed object (striking - includes vessels) in TURN POINT, BOUNDARY PASSAGE, HARO STRAIT, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

Container Ship "PARIS" reportedly came into a close quarters situation with S/V "JENNY" the lead boat of (and) 50 sailing vessels. Seattle Marine Safety and VTS did not advise Victoria MCTS of the sailing vessels coming into Canadian waters.
