On 7/11/2001 , the vessel OKEANIS (Official Number 10512) was involved in a risk of striking (near allision) - risk of allision with a fixed object (striking - includes vessels) in HALIFAX HARBOUR, N.S., NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 28 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 1/24/2002 . Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SW at 6.00 knots.
