On 3/14/2008 , the vessel MSC YOKOHAMA (Official Number 10367) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in TROIS-RIVIÈRES, QC, QUEBEC (QC).
The vessel, with 23 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 14 March 2008, shortly after embarking the pilot at Trois-Rivières, the starboard accomodation ladder of the "MSC YOKOHAMA" fell while being hoisted. No one was injured.
