On 15 March 2016, the tug "OCEAN EAGLE", with 5 people on board and the freight barge "ZB 335" in tow, reported as aground near Rock Bay, Johnson Strait, BC. With the assistance of an escort tug and the Canadian Coast Guard cutter "CAPE PALMERSTON", the tug towed the barge to Menzies Bay, BC for inspection and repairs. There was damage reported to the tug and the barge's hull structure. No injuries or pollution reported.
