On 7/14/2001 , the vessel ATLANTIC PREDATOR (Official Number 0821623) was involved in a sank - flooding in 170 EAST OF CAPE BAULD, NORTHERN PENN. NFLD, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR (NL).

The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were 0 injuries and fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

At 2355 on 14 July, 2001 the F/V "ATLANTIC PREDATOR" with 7 POB issued a MAYDAY indicating she was taking on water. At 0406 on 15 July, 2001 a SAR Hercules sighted a flare and the crew was rescued from a liferaft by another F/V. No injuries reported.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
